FootyCal ("we", "our", or "the app") is a soccer/football match tracking application operated by Vulture Technologies LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.

Information We Collect

FootyCal collects and stores the following information locally on your device:

• Followed Teams and Leagues: The teams and competitions you choose to follow are stored locally on your device using secure local storage.
• App Preferences: Your view preferences (calendar vs. list view) and filter settings.

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Third-Party Services

FootyCal uses the following third-party services:

• API-Football: We use API-Football to fetch match schedules, scores, and team information. When you use the app, requests are made to their servers to retrieve this data. Please refer to API-Football's privacy policy for information on how they handle data.
• YouTube: When you tap "Watch Highlights" for a finished match, the app opens YouTube search results in your browser. We do not track or store your viewing activity.

Data Storage

All your personal preferences (followed teams, leagues, and settings) are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not:

• Collect or store personal information on external servers
• Require account creation or login
• Track your location
• Access your contacts, photos, or other device data
• Use analytics or tracking tools
• Display advertisements

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. The only external communication is with API-Football to retrieve match data, which does not include any personal information.

Notifications

FootyCal may send local device notifications to remind you of upcoming matches. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to or stored on external servers. You can disable match reminders in the app's Settings screen or in your device's system notification settings.

Children's Privacy

FootyCal does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences interested in soccer/football.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Your Rights
